As the President of the Executive Board for the Montgomery County Young Republicans, I write to offer our full support and endorsement of the Robert Broadus for Congress in District 4.
Mr. Broadus’s extensive experience as an outspoken advocate of our principles and values has earned him a following among young professionals and leaders of the Republican movement. In the course of his career, he has consistently made efforts to distinguish himself as a Leader of the Party. As a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Robert exemplifies the spirit of America in the defense of our liberty and freedom. As a congressman, we have full confidence that Robert Broadus will wholeheartedly and faithfully uphold the constitution of this land while helping lead us to a brighter, more prosperous future.

| “Robert is intelligent, articulate and trustworthy. He will work tirelessly to preserve our liberty.” -- Joe Banister

Joseph R. (Joe) Banister is a former IRS Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent who learned of serious constitutional questions relating to the federal income tax and the federal banking and monetary systems. He prevailed in a protracted legal battle against the IRS, and was acquitted on the four counts against him by challenging the government to prove there is a law requiring tax returns to be filed.
The Creation of the IRS in 1913 is the most critical change that allowed our government to grow beyond a reasonable size and enact coercive policies in the promise of taking care of us from the cradle to the grave. I strongly embrace the motto: "that government is best which governs least," and one of my primary goals will be ending the IRS, allowing most Americans to keep 1/3 of the money they give to the government in taxes.
